About the Role

We’re looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Trust and safety Analyst to join our Compliance & Trust team. You’ll play a critical role in safeguarding LaunchGood by ensuring campaigns and fundraisers meet compliance, regulatory, and platform standards.

As a Trust and safety Analyst, you will:

• Review and verify documents from fundraisers.
• Conduct due diligence on campaigns and users.
• Monitor transactions for fraudulent or suspicious activity.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a safe, secure, and trustworthy platform for our global community.

Your work will directly contribute to protecting our users, preventing financial crime, and maintaining a positive user experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Trust and safety Review & Verification

• Review and analyze campaign submissions to ensure compliance with LaunchGood’s policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assess user-provided documents for validity, accuracy, and authenticity.
• Make informed decisions on campaign approvals based on established guidelines.
• Manage cases involving customer concerns through email, phone, and resolution platforms.

2. Compliance & Risk Management

• Perform Trust and safety verification, OFAC/OSFI sanction list checks, and screenings via FinClusive, World-Check, and other tools.
• Report suspicious activity to the Compliance Manager or AML Officer.
• Monitor transactions for potential fraud and escalate when necessary.
• Stay up to date on industry regulations, trends, and best practices.

3. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Work closely with the Trust and Safety Lead to improve processes and enhance overall compliance operations.
• Document and report recurring issues, bugs, or process gaps for resolution.
• Support cross-functional teams with compliance-related requests.
• Provide real-time assistance to users with verification or compliance-related concerns.

Requirements

• With experience as a Trust and Safety Analyst, preferably within a financial institution, MSB, crowdfunding platform, or fintech company.
• Solid understanding of Trust and Safety procedures, AML policies, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience working with tools like World-Check, FinClusive, or similar screening solutions.
• Excellent judgment and decision-making skills.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Availability for a 5-day work schedule, including possible weekend shifts (e.g., Wednesday–Sunday).
• Ability to work effectively across EMEA or North America time zones
