How does the hiring fee work?

If you hire a full-time employee through MuslimJobs you agree to pay a finders fee equal to 5% on Essential Plan or 25% on Business Plan of their first salary. Read the full hiring agreement below for more details.

Why do you charge a hiring fee?

Charging a hiring fee incentivizes us to help you find the best candidates, as fast as possible, and we only get paid when you find the right person. We're here to help you find the best talent every step of the way, and we're confident that you'll find the right person through MuslimJobs.

Do you offer placement guarantees or refunds?

The placement fee at MuslimJobs is a finder's fee for successfully connecting companies with candidates, covering costs of the business, job post optimization, advertising, and access to our curated professional database and network. It applies only upon successful hires, ensuring you only pay when you hire successfully. Once a hire is made, the onus of vetting and retaining the candidate lies with the company. As the fee corresponds to our already-rendered services and incurred costs, refunds are not issued, regardless of the employee's tenure at the company.

Do you offer a non-profit discount?

We offer a reduced hiring fee for non-profit organizations. Contact us to learn more.

Please note that MuslimJobs is a curated job platform. We only accept companies that are aligned with our mission and values. To ensure that we are a good fit for each other, we require all companies to sign our hiring agreement.

  • Your company is a Muslim company - We define a Muslim company as a company or an organisation that is owned by Muslims or has a Muslim majority leadership and is built with Islamic values.
  • Your company is not involved in any activities that are haram or questionable from an Islamic perspective

Thank you for choosing MuslimJobs ("MuslimJobs", "we", "us" or "our"). By creating a company account on MuslimJobs, you agree to these terms and the standard website terms (the "Standard Terms"). Capitalized words used in these terms have the meanings given in the Standard Terms.

FEES

If you hire someone as a full-time employee that you became aware of through the Service (a "Candidate"), you agree to pay us a placement fee equal to 5% on Essential Plan and 25% on Business Plan of the Candidate's guaranteed first-year compensation (base salary and any guaranteed bonus) (the "Placement Fee"). The Placement Fee is due within fifteen days of the Candidate's first day of work with you. No Placement Fee is due with respect to amounts paid to Candidates as an independent contractor.

The Placement Fee is due with respect to any Candidate that you hire as a full-time employee within 12 months of first connecting with a Candidate through the Service (the "Fee Period"). No Placement Fee is due for Candidates hired on a part-time or contract basis. If you initially engage a Candidate on a part-time or contract basis and, within the Fee Period, move the person to full-time employment, then you must pay a Placement Fee equal to 5% on Essential Plan or 25% on Business Plan of the Candidate's guaranteed first-year compensation. For non-profit organizations, the Placement Fee will be equal to 2.5% of the Candidate's guaranteed first-year compensation.

We will invoice you for the Placement Fee. The Placement Fee is due within 15 days of the Candidate's first day of work with you, regardless of when invoiced. Unpaid fees or late payment without a valid reason will result in the account being suspended until the fees are paid.

OBLIGATIONS

You must notify us that you have hired a Candidate no later than the Candidate's first day of employment and on any subsequent advancement or change in status during the Fee Period.

CANCELLATION

Canceling your account does not terminate your obligation to pay the Placement Fee as provided in these terms. You may cancel your account through the Website.

NO PLACEMENT GUARANTEE

MuslimJobs is a connection service. We make no warranties or guarantees regarding the qualifications or abilities of Candidates. You are solely responsible for conducting all required interviews, diligence, and background investigations with respect to Candidates. No portion of the Placement Fee is refundable if you terminate a Candidate's employment or if a Candidate terminates their employment with you.

OTHER TERMS

The non-prevailing party in any litigation or arbitration shall pay the reasonable legal fees and costs incurred by the prevailing party in the dispute and in any appeal.

Our maximum liability to you under these terms will not exceed $250.

We may amend these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email of any changes to these terms. Your continued use of the Service after our delivery of that notification email constitutes acceptance of any changed terms. These terms plus our website terms comprise our entire agreement regarding your use of the Service. You may not assign this agreement.
