About the Role
In this role, you will play a key role in supporting SGS's safety consulting practice. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
Project Management: Prepare scopes of work, methodologies, and plans for safety consultancy projects (industrial safety, occupational safety, technical safety, safety surveys, and occupational safety audits).
Service Development: Develop and promote safety services, including industrial safety, occupational safety, and technical safety.
Risk Assessment: Participate in HAZID and HAZOP review workshops.
HSE Management: Develop HSE plans and procedures according to project requirements.
Technical Studies: Manage and conduct technical studies for various projects, including Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA), Consequence Modeling, Fire Risk Assessment (FERA), Building Risk Assessment (BRA), Escape, Evacuation and Rescue Analysis (EERA), ALARP Studies, COMAH/Safety Case Studies, PHA/Bow-Tie Analysis, F&G Mapping Studies, Dropped Object Studies, and Emergency Systems Survivability Analysis (ESSA).
Standards and Regulations: Ensure adherence to local and international standards and guidelines for safety studies and audits.
Team Leadership: Train and supervise team members for safety surveys and audits.
Sales and Marketing: Participate in sales and marketing activities for safety consultancy and advisory services.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Safety, Occupational Safety, or a related engineering discipline from an accredited university (required).
Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment (required).
Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently (required).
4-5 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry (required).
Minimum of 3 years of consultancy experience in a similar role (required).
