• In organization structure will report to the Chief Quality Manager. Will be responsible for quality control of ARTD/DSS project deliverables. This will involve quality acceptance of deliverables against approved user requirements/specification and military/commercial standards.

• Needs to be a team player, and needs to provide support to the Systems Engineering, Configuration Management and Project Management
  Offices.

• Needs to promote and support implementation of Military/Commercial Standards during electronic hardware and software development.

• Needs to create awareness regarding the requirement for technical quality during defense system development. Will support the Chief Quality Manager for overall quality management in the organization.

• Needs good problem solving skills and background in
  electronic and/or mechanical engineering.

  Skills

  • Take responsibility for the establishment of a QMS in the organisation.

  • Direct and assist in producing and publishing of QA related processes and procedures.

  • Drive the adoption of QM and QC aspects throughout the organisation.

  • Ensure that sufficient trained resources in QM/QC is available to meet the organisation's quality objectives.

  • Provide continuous QA and QC related best practises mentoring of development and production resources in the organisation.

  • Provide assistance (consultation) in regards all quality related aspects in the organisation.

  • Provide day to day guidance/direction to project core personnel in the application of QA and QC.

  • Throughout all your actions and initiatives, you continue to pursue the ultimate goal of obtaining an ISO 9001: 2015 quality certification
    for PSDSARC.
