TURNOVER ENGINEER

Job summary

MISSION:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating the turnover and handover processes during the fabrication and construction phase of EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects.

TASKS:

• Develop and implement turnover and handover plans, procedures, and schedules in alignment with project requirements and client expectations.

• Coordinate and manage turnover packages, ensuring all necessary documentation, certifications, and records are complete and accurate.

• Facilitate the transition of completed systems and equipment from the construction phase to the commissioning and operations teams.

• Prepare detailed turnover documentation, including punch lists, checklists, and completion certificates.

• Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of turnover activities and progress.

• Ensure that all turnover documentation is properly completed and submitted in a timely manner.

• Ensure all turnover activities comply with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Conduct inspections and verifications to ensure that systems and equipment meet quality standards prior to turnover.

• Participate in project reviews and implement corrective actions as needed.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.

• 10+ years of experience in turnover and handover within the Oil & Gas sector, specifically during the fabrication phase of EPC projects.

• Extensive experience with turnover and handover processes, including documentation and quality control.

• Fluent level of written and spoken English.
