Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced engineer to join our team and play a vital role in managing Instrument Engineering activities for our onshore oil and gas/petrochemical projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Instrument Engineers/Senior Engineers, effectively delegating tasks and ensuring their professional development.

  • Participate in both Core Engineering Team and Project Management Team (PMT) environments as required.

  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on all aspects of Instrument Engineering for assigned projects.

  • Oversee the development and implementation of effective Instrument Engineering strategies and solutions.

  • Ensure adherence to project specifications, standards, and client requirements (including Saudi Aramco Desktop Standard).

  • Collaborate effectively with other engineering disciplines to ensure project integration and successful execution.

  • Manage project budgets and schedules related to Instrument Engineering activities.

  • Monitor and mitigate technical risks associated with Instrument Engineering.

  • Prepare and review Instrument Engineering deliverables (drawings, data sheets, specifications, etc.).

  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement within Instrument Engineering practices.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Instrument Engineering technologies and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Instrument Engineering (required).

  • At least 14 years of experience in Instrument Engineering, with a minimum of 10 years focused on major onshore oil and gas/petrochemical projects (required).

  • Previous experience working in a Lead role within a similar environment (highly preferred).

  • Working knowledge of Saudi Aramco Desktop Standard and procedures/practices (a plus).

  • Experience with construction and commissioning phases of oil and gas projects (a plus).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel (required).
