Nord Anglia International School Abu Dhabi (NAS Abu Dhabi) is situated on Al Reem Island at the heart of the Emirate. The Role: As a member of our expanding Primary team, you will contribute to the development of a world-class Primary School section. Working closely with colleagues, you will create an outstanding environment, delivering exceptional learning opportunities both inside and outside the classroom. Additionally, as a founding member of the Primary team, you will support the school in marketing, recruiting, and retaining students.

About You: You will be an exceptional teacher passionate about your profession and committed to continuous improvement. With a positive mindset, you will always strive to do your best for students, parents, and colleagues. Strong experience with the UK national curriculum is essential, with further experience in international education being advantageous. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with all members of the community are essential. You will be proactive in participating in extracurricular activities and will contribute to our culture of inspiration, enjoyment, and success. Flexibility and open-mindedness are crucial for adapting to our fast-paced international environment. You understand the importance of being an exceptional role model and ambassador for our school.

Personal Specifications:

  • Qualified teacher with experience teaching in an international environment

  • Ability to integrate technology into the classroom to enhance learning

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint

  • Strong cross-cultural, interpersonal, and communication skills

  • Excellent analytical skills with a results-oriented approach

  • Exceptional time management and flexibility in handling multiple tasks

Selection Process: Applicants should submit a CV, letter of application, and details of two professional referees, one of whom should be your current Line Manager.
