Senior Manager, IT Infrastructure Operation

We are searching for a talented and experienced leader to oversee our IT Infrastructure Operations team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic IT initiatives, ensuring a robust, reliable, and future-proof IT infrastructure that supports our organization's growth.

What You'll Do

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement IT infrastructure plans aligned with our organization's business objectives. Lead and mentor your team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

• Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, architecture, and implementation of IT infrastructure solutions, encompassing servers, networks, storage, and cloud platforms.

• System Administration: Manage, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, virtualization platforms, and storage systems to guarantee optimal performance and reliability.

• Network Management: Maintain and optimize network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs, to ensure secure and seamless network connectivity across the organization.

• IT Security: Implement and enforce robust security policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard IT assets, data, and systems from security threats and vulnerabilities. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

• Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity: Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans, backup and restore procedures, and business continuity strategies to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted operations during system failures or disasters.

• Vendor Management: Evaluate, select, and manage external vendors, service providers, and technology partners to deliver high-quality services, optimize costs, and achieve alignment with our organizational goals.

• Budget Management: Prepare and manage IT infrastructure project budgets, optimizing resource allocation and cost-effectiveness to maximize return on investment (ROI).

• Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze IT infrastructure performance, capacity, and usage trends to identify opportunities for optimization, scalability, and efficiency improvements.

• Incident Management: Lead incident response and problem-solving efforts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to address IT infrastructure issues, minimize disruptions, and prevent recurrence.

• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of IT infrastructure configurations, procedures, and policies. Prepare regular reports and performance metrics for senior management and stakeholders.

The Ideal Candidate

• Technical Expertise: Strong technical knowledge in server administration, network engineering, virtualization, storage systems, and cloud computing platforms.

• IT Service Management (ITIL): Experience with ITIL frameworks and best practices for IT service management.

• Proven Leadership: A track record of successfully leading and managing IT infrastructure projects and initiatives from inception to implementation.

• Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.

• Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and sound decision-making abilities.

• Certifications (Preferred): Certifications such as ITIL, PMP (Project Management Professional), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), or relevant vendor certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (required); Master's degree preferred.

• 8-10 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 4-6 years in a leadership or managerial role.
