Brand & Growth Lead (Part-Time Contract) | Muslim Consumer Brand

At Minara, we're building a beautiful smart device for the home prayer space.

Our mission is simple: help Muslims bring more presence, beauty and intentionality into their daily worship.

We're looking for an ambitious early-career marketer with strong creative instincts to help grow Minara during a pivotal stage of our journey.

This isn't a traditional social media manager role.

We're looking for someone who wants ownership, enjoys building, and is excited by the idea of helping shape an emerging Muslim consumer brand from the ground up.

What You'll Do

• Own and grow Minara's social media presence
• Develop and manage content calendars
• Create and coordinate content ideas, campaigns and storytelling initiatives
• Build relationships with creators, influencers and community partners
• Identify partnership opportunities with aligned brands and organizations
• Support community and event activations
• Monitor performance and recommend growth opportunities
• Work directly with the founder on brand and marketing strategy

• Is proactive, resourceful and comfortable taking ownership

• Understands Muslim communities and culture in Western contexts

Nice To Have

• Experience with consumer brands, startups or creator marketing
• Familiarity with Muslim consumer brands, modest fashion, faith-based products or community organizations
• Basic design, video editing or content creation skills
• Experience building creator or partnership relationships

Compensation

• Approximately 25 hours per month
• Initial compensation of approximately $1,000 USD/month
• Opportunity for increased compensation as the company grows
