The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Dubai, UAE. In this role, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional engineering solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and report on the progress of structural engineering deliverables.

  • Review shop drawings and material submittals for compliance with plans, specifications, codes, and best practices.

  • Ensure coordination between structural engineering and other disciplines.

  • Provide technical expertise to resolve structural engineering challenges.

  • Oversee the performance of inspectors and ensure they meet their responsibilities.

  • Maintain clear communication with client and contractor engineers on project issues.

  • Coordinate efforts to achieve successful project handover.

  • Keep a daily project diary and prepare written and photographic reports on progress, quality, safety, and other relevant aspects.

  • Attend technical and progress meetings with the contractor and client representatives.

  • Identify and escalate issues and risks to senior project management as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (required).

  • 12+ years of relevant work experience (required).

  • Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and practices.

  • Experience reviewing shop drawings and ensuring compliance with codes and standards.

  • Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficiency in relevant engineering software.
