Job Description
Engie Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HSE Inspector to join their team!
Summary:
In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental (HSE) well-being of personnel and the environment at our work sites. You will conduct regular inspections, identify potential hazards, and promote safe work practices.
Responsibilities:
HSE Inspections:
Perform routine inspections of workplaces to observe adherence to safe work systems, equipment operation, hazardous material handling, and lifting equipment usage.
Document observations and findings in designated checklists.
Monitoring & Reporting:
Monitor the proper use, maintenance, and storage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Identify and report at-risk behaviors that could lead to injuries or environmental harm.
Report deviations from HSE standards that pose a significant risk to personnel, the environment, or company operations and assets.
Training & Participation:
Participate in conducting Toolbox Talks, risk assessments, and in-house HSE training sessions.
Assist in emergency response activities and first-aid provision.
Recordkeeping & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of HSE activities.
Assist in preparing QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) reports.
Qualifications:
Essential:
Degree or Diploma in a relevant field (e.g., Health & Safety, Engineering).
NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent HSE qualification.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an HSE role.
Awareness of ISO standards (advantageous).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Desired:
Experience in the energy sector (a plus).
