As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the planning, execution, and successful completion of various civil engineering activities within Electrical cabling projects. You will also be responsible to liaise with site team, and regulatory authority to obtain NOCs and final clearance for execution of the projects

Key Accountabilities

• Prepare program/project schedule such as details of start and end dates of work, duration of the project, route specifications, etc. in coordination with concerned site/project managers to submit to RTA and get approvals.

• Coordinate with the sire team, site project managers, site engineers to get approvals and clearance certificates for the work.

• Update online NOC to RTA system and prepare necessary documents required to be submitted to concerned government authorities for approval.

• Accompany government authorities and RTA officials to the sites to obtain final clearance certificate.

• Answer queries and clarify issues put forth by the government authorities to get approvals.

• Interpret geotechnical reports as and when required

• Coordinate and oversee project activities, ensuring adherence to established plans.

• Review and recommend to approve engineering drawings, shop-drawing, specifications, and documents to ensure alignment with project requirements.

• Identify potential project risks and develop effective strategies to mitigate them.

• Monitor project progress and address any deviations from the plan promptly.

• Anticipate and manage technical challenges and unforeseen issues that may arise during project execution.

• Conduct thorough quality inspections and assessments of civil structures to verify compliance with specifications.

• Implement testing and validation procedures to ensure the durability and safety of constructed projects.

• Maintain clear and open communication with project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and management.

• Provide regular updates, progress reports, and presentations to keep stakeholders informed of project status.

• Foster a collaborative work environment, promoting effective teamwork and knowledge sharing

• Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including technical drawings, reports, and correspondence.

• Create comprehensive documentation for projects, enabling efficient maintenance and future reference.

• Monitor resource utilization and make adjustments to resource allocation as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Civil Engineering

• RTA approved engineer - essential

Experience

• Minimum 5 to 7 year of relevant experience in the Electrical Projects. 3 year of supervisory experience is desired.

• Relevant experience in designing substation foundations, buildings, and transmission line towers.
