Job Description
The Finance Manager is responsible for managing the company's financial operations, including planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting, as well as enhancing financial performance through strategic guidance and effective resource management. This role is crucial in supporting the CEO with detailed financial information and actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Planning: Develop and execute financial strategies that align with the company’s long-term business goals.
Budget Management: Oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, and allocations, ensuring they meet company objectives for growth and profitability.
Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare accurate and detailed financial reports for the CEO and board members, offering insights that guide the financial decision-making process.
Cash Flow Management: Manage the organization's cash flow analysis and planning to ensure availability of funds and financial health.
Audit and Compliance: Supervise the audit processes and ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements for financial reporting and documentation.
Team Leadership and Development: Lead the finance team with integrity and establish clear team goals that align with the business objectives of the organization.
Key Result Areas (KRAs)
Effective financial management as evidenced by meeting or exceeding financial targets and objectives.
High accuracy in financial reporting and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Strategic impact on the business through actionable financial insights and strategies.
Effective cash flow management to support company operations and strategic investments.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
Master’s degree in business administration, Finance, or related field preferred.
Professional certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Fluency in English & Arabic is a must
Experience
At least 7 years of financial management experience, with a proven track record in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
Experience in a senior management role, directly reporting to high-level executives such as a CEO or equivalent.
Skills
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Advanced analytical, strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities.
Proficiency in financial software and systems.
High ethical standards and professionalism, with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
