As we scale globally, we’re hiring an Accounting Associate to support financial stewardship, compliance, and operational excellence across our distributed ecosystem.

Role Summary

This role is part tactical finance, part operations. You'll support day-to-day accounting tasks, assist with reporting and audits, and ensure that financial data is clean, timely, and ready for decision-making.

You’ll report to the VP of People Operations and collaborate with our finance vendors and legal counsel.

What You will Do

• Manage accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries,
• Track vendor payments, reimbursements, and internal transfers,
• Support month-end close and maintain clean financial records,
• Assist in preparing reports for audits, tax filings, and board updates,
• Help maintain compliance with US and international financial regulations,
• Use and maintain systems like QuickBooks, GSuite, and Clickup.

What We are Looking For

• 2–4 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial ops,
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage recurring tasks with care,
• Comfortable working across time zones and with remote-first tools,
• Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software,
• Experience with nonprofit, startup, or fund-based organizations.
