Job Summary:

• Inspire the Next Generation: Teach graduate courses in a wide range of natural resource management topics, including:

  • Advanced Environmental Pollution

  • Ecosystem Biogeochemistry

  • Climate Change Adaptation & Mitigation

  • Environmental Policy Making

  • Environmental Modeling

  • Disasters & Risk Management (and more)

• Nurture Future Leaders: Supervise master's and doctoral theses in environmental management and climate change.

• Breakthrough Research: Conduct innovative research that integrates themes related to urban environments and climate change.

• Knowledge Transfer: Develop and deliver training workshops on climate change policies, adaptation, and mitigation strategies.

We Seek an Exceptional Candidate with:

• A Ph.D. in Environmental Science or a closely related field from a reputable university, specializing in:

  • Air & Atmospheric Pollution

  • Environmental Chemistry

  • Environmental Modeling (Air/Climate Change)

  • Pollution Control & Abatement

For an edge in the competition, you'll possess:

• At least eight years of post-doctoral experience in your area of specialization.

• An impressive record of publications in international, peer-reviewed journals.

• Solid experience teaching related subjects at the postgraduate level.

• A proven track record of supervising master's and doctoral theses.

• Extensive experience managing and implementing research projects, including lab management.

• Proficiency in both English and Arabic languages.

Special Expertise (Highly Desired):

• Experience with Hybridoma and cell line culture techniques.

• Proficiency in upstream bioprocessing: media prep, inoculum prep, bioreactor operations, and harvesting.

• Hands-on experience in mammalian cell transfection, confocal microscopy, ELISA, IHC, and signal transduction.
