Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Route Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital role in driving sales growth across our assigned routes by interacting with customers, managing inventory, and ensuring efficient product distribution.
What you'll do:
Interact with customers to promote sales, manage product distribution, and establish strong relationships.
Provide direct supervision and support to truck helpers and delivery assistants.
Assist with onboarding new recruits (customer representatives and salespeople).
Optimize product placement on shelves and ensure flawless execution of marketing initiatives.
Achieve individual sales targets (cash and credit), maintain proper inventory levels, and deliver exceptional customer service.
Follow established route plans to guarantee all assigned customers are visited and serviced effectively.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and inventory data within the company database.
Provide insightful reports on competitor activity, new store openings, and market trends.
Cover for colleagues during leave periods to ensure uninterrupted service.
Coordinate the introduction of new products within your assigned territory.
Manage time efficiently to ensure optimal customer interaction and efficient product delivery.
Provide valuable feedback to management regarding distribution challenges and customer concerns.
Contribute to achieving departmental goals by fulfilling personal sales targets and supporting strategic initiatives.
What you'll bring:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a sales or customer service role (preferred).
Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
The ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines.
Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing customer needs.
Proficiency in basic computer software and data entry skills.
Valid driver's license (required).
