Job Description
As a part-time Deputy Teacher, you will play an integral role in supporting the academic and administrative functions of the school, contributing to the delivery of top-tier education to our students. You’ll assist in shaping our educational vision, nurturing a positive learning atmosphere, and offering guidance to our team of educators.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
Minimum 3+ years of educational leadership experience, ideally in school management.
Expertise in curriculum development, instructional design, and education assessment.
Strong organizational abilities and ability to work effectively in a part-time capacity.
Proficiency in educational technology tools and learning management systems.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in education.
Key Role and Responsibilities:
Assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the school.
Collaborate with the Head Teacher to develop and implement school policies and procedures.
Ensure smooth functioning of administrative tasks and adherence to school regulations.
Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress, concerns, and achievements.
Organize and participate in parent-teacher meetings and other relevant events to foster positive relationships.
Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to teachers to enhance their teaching practices and professional development.
Conduct performance evaluations and offer constructive feedback to teachers to improve classroom effectiveness.
Assess and monitor the performance of teachers and students to ensure academic excellence.
Implement strategies to address areas of improvement and recognize exceptional performance.
Engage actively in all aspects of school life, including extracurricular activities, events, and committees.
Take a lead role in organizing and coordinating school events, ensuring their successful execution.
Collaborate with the curriculum development team to design and implement effective teaching and learning strategies.
Ensure alignment of curriculum with educational standards and requirements.
Support the Head Teacher in maintaining a safe and conducive learning environment for students.
Address student behavioral issues and implement disciplinary measures as necessary, in accordance with school policies.
Assist in planning school-related activities and events, ensuring smooth execution
Stay updated on educational trends, best practices, and relevant regulations through continuous learning and professional development activities.
