Job Description
In this role, you'll play a dual role:
Assessment Verifier: You'll independently ensure the quality and consistency of assessment decisions made for AGC programs, adhering to internal and external quality standards (e.g., NQC, OPITO).
Technical Trainer: You'll leverage your expertise to deliver technical training to AGC employees, supporting their professional development and growth through new initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Assessment Verification:
Guarantee the fairness and consistency of assessments conducted by others.
Verify that assessment processes comply with established quality assurance systems.
Provide constructive feedback to assessors on their evaluation of candidate competence.
Possess a deep understanding of the assessment standards and requirements you're responsible for verifying.
Conduct internal verifications of assessments for both assessors and candidates.
Offer guidance, support, and feedback to assessors.
Uphold internal verification processes and quality procedures.
Maintain accurate records of verification activities.
Participate in standardization activities to ensure a consistent approach to assessment.
Training Delivery:
Develop and deliver impactful short courses aligned with specific training needs.
Craft and update training materials and resources to optimize learning.
Ensure courses are conducted according to technical requirements and safety protocols.
Promote training opportunities by attending internal and external events.
Create promotional materials showcasing current training offerings.
Develop new initiatives to expand training offerings and support business growth.
Professional Development:
Continuously update your skills through training and professional development activities.
The Ideal Candidate:
Bachelor's degree (BEng) in a relevant field or equivalent, plus a recognized international Verifier & Assessor qualification.
Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in the oil & gas or petrochemical industry.
At least 6 years of experience in assessment/verification and technical training within a vocational training environment.
Strong English language proficiency and excellent computer skills.
Certified International Assessor & Verifier qualification is a plus.
