**JOB TITLE: **After-School Quran Class Instructor (Boys)

**RESPONSIBLE TO: **After-School Quran Program Coordinator

**SUPERVISES: **After-School students

**POSITION TYPE**: Independent contractor paid position

**COMPENSATION: **Commensurate with experience

**DAYS & HOURS**: Mon – Fri 5:00 PM - 7:15 PM

## **NATURE AND SCOPE OF JOB: **

The After-School Quran Class Instructor is responsible for teaching Qur’an, Tajwid and Islamic Studies to our students.

## **QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE: **

- Experience teaching Qur’an to children
- Experience teaching Islamic Studies to children
- Hafiz (preferred)

## **BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES: **

The job description and responsibilities of the Instructor include, but are not limited to the following:

- Teach students Islamic Studies, Qur’an, and Tajwid
- Plan activities for gym
- Supervise students at all times
- Receive students from parents during drop off and direct them to class
- Dismiss students in a safe and standardized procedure.
- Communication with parents
