Job title: PPC Specialist / Digital Marketing Specialist

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Salary: 25,000 – 27,000 (but up to 30,000 if the experience is right))

Based at: Head Office, Hounslow.

This is a 3-month role with an extension or permanent job post offer with one of the leading charities in the UK.

We’re looking for a highly experienced and ambitious Digital Marketing specialist with proven PPC experience. The job will entail taking the reins of our Paid Search, Video and Display campaigns on Google in Canada & US as well as Social media & Email marketing accounts (training can be provided for the latter two). Additional experience with designing & web content management would an advantage. We need a creative, proactive, and self-motivated candidate with a passion for digital marketing, paid search & google display ads. Through your work, you will be helping to improve the lives of impoverished communities and need to have a good knowledge of the concepts of charity in Islam.


Reporting to and working closely with our marketing team, you will be at the forefront of our marketing campaign.


Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

· Manage paid media campaigns across search, video, display and retargeting networks by conducting extensive keyword research, analysis and testing of keyword performance.

· Grow the campaigns, test pushing the keywords to higher positions

· Optimise campaigns across multiple channels to deliver the best return of investment.

· Ensure successful campaigns managing bids and budgets to be able to meet our target

· Constantly reviewing areas to improve conversion rates Identifying trends in data and providing actionable insights

· Keep up to date with the latest developments and trends across PPC and Paid Media in order to become an expert in the field and to advise on campaign optimisation.

· Review & test Ad Copy, Extensions & add new Google Products

· Experience using Google Adwords, Google Analytics & Adwords Editor & Bing

· Manage Email Campaign through Mailchimp

· Manage Social Media Marketing


Person Specification

  • Ideally educated to degree level, ideally in marketing or communications, or English with significant experience of working in a digital marketing role.
  • Previous PPC incl Video & GDN experience is required & a valid Google certification desired
  • Self-starter attitude & highly analytical
  • Expert in copywriting with attention to detail and capacity to work independently.
  • Energy, enthusiasm and proven experience in producing digital content and digital best practice, preferably with a charity or Non-profit organisation.
  • Knowledge and experience of running digital marketing campaigns.
